We chased down the moon

and the rabbits were out
and soft little breezes
were ruffling about
and we drove in the wake
of the crescent on high
the largest we'd known
in our history of skies
there was nothing to do
but to follow it then
til the clouds drew the curtains
and shuttered it in
so we drifted the breezes
and turned our sails home
while the rabbits white tails
caught the remnants of moon
